Complete academic journey at Middle East Technical University includes a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a Master's degree in both Mathematics and Information Systems, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics. Main research interests are block ciphers and their cryptanalysis. I was a research assistant in the Department of Mathematics at METU from 1998 to 2005. I have been a full-time instructor in the Department of Information Systems and Technologies (CTIS) at Bilkent University since Fall 2005.
